Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, I attended the State University of New York at Albany. I received a B.S. degree in biology and graduated with Cum Laude honors. I then moved to Connecticut to attend the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in Farmington, graduating in May 1988. It was there that I met my husband, David, who was my classmate.
David is practicing in Avon and West Hartford. I have been practicing as an associate dentist in Waterbury since February 1989 in a small family practice. I have enjoyed practicing family/general dentistry, including restorative, pediatric, cosmetic and preventative dentistry. I am a member of the Hartford Dental Society, the Connecticut State Dental Association and the American Dental Association. I take extensive continuing education every year to stay up to date on all the latest developments in dentistry. I especially enjoy a monthly 7 hour course on varying topics given by the CSDA.
I live in the Farmington valley with my husband and 2 sons. Our oldest son, Dan, attends the University of Connecticut in Storrs. Our youngest, Alex, is in high school and will be attending UCONN in September. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family. We particularly love to cheer on the UCONN Huskies basketball and football teams. I also enjoy biking the rails to trails, walking my dogs and ballroom dancing with my husband.
